Some have always thought the beef was for the local Hip Hop genre and only for publicity, as they have been seen cordial or even playing football together.
However, the two still insist there is no love lost.
Recently, AKA shared a hilarious jab at a Cassper Nyovest lookalike on Twitter, reminding us that the two still have a lot to offer for their beef on social media.

AKA ‘Don Billiato’ “ambassador”
Riding on the wave of AKA’s summer hit Lemons (Lemonade) featuring Nasty C, Cassper thought it was smart to promote his own business.
Cassper posted a fake image that purportedly shows AKA advertising his alcoholic beverage Billiato.
“Introducing the new Brand Ambassador of Billiato. Mix it with Lemonade.” Cassper was referencing to AKA’s hit song, Lemons (Lemonade).

The image confused many as they wondered if it was photoshopped. If you look closely at the image credits, a well-known photoshop account, @_Hybreed_ was credited.
AKA didn’t find this funny and threatened to take legal action, however, at the time of writing, he hasn’t.
Composure
In October this year, AKA performed his smash hit diss track targeted at Cassper, Composure in front of him for the first time during an event performance.
“When it’s time to battle, we got to battle…” began the rapper before introducing his 2015 diss track, Composure, aimed at his rival.
“Where is that ni***h at, ay yo, ni***h where you at? I want you to stand up right now and take it with your chest,” he shouts as the opening beat for the song blares over the speakers in the venue.
The crowd can be seen and heard going wild before they sing along to Composure.
“Cassper mo’vest”
On Thursday, AKA retweeted a tweet of a Cassper Nyovest look alike, dressed in a white vest, accessorised with chains and a ring, he strikingly had similar facial features as the North West rapper.
AKA funnily captioned the Twitter user’s picture: “Haha Cassper mo’vest”.
The Slap
The slap, which occurred in 2015, where AKA slapped Cassper across the face at a nightclub has many versions, however, AKA admitted he did do it.
At the time when Cassper told the story people thought he was causing drama to market his FillUpTheDome campaign in which he hoped to record his new album live to a full audience at the Dome.
The two have since talked less about the incident with Cassper wanting a face-off in the boxing ring.

Boxing match
The two over the last few years have been wanting a boxing match to face off, however, the push seems to come from Cassper.
Cassper is often making a mockery of AKA on his Twitter account for not wanting to fight him for his Cele City boxing match.
Cassper has insulted AKA’s family and called him names in hopes to ignite the fight he wants.
However, AKA has not budged.
