DJ and radio personality Siyabulela “Supta” Sithole has officially signed off from Y, marking the end of an era at the youth-focused station.
After an impressive 11-year journey, he announced his departure on Wednesday morning, leaving behind a legacy that saw him rise through the ranks to become one of the station’s most beloved voices.
Reflecting on his time at Y, Supta expressed deep appreciation for the platform that shaped his career.
“YFM holds a special place in my heart; it has truly shaped my radio career and helped me become the person I am today,” he shared.
He also extended gratitude to Tumelo for giving him the opportunity and to managing director Haseena for her unwavering support.
His final show, #Unlocked, will air on March 20, marking a significant moment for both his loyal listeners and colleagues.
While he has hinted at an exciting new direction, Supta has yet to reveal what’s next for him.
