Rachel Kolisi steps down as CEO of the Kolisi Foundation, embraces new journey! The Kolisi Foundation, founded by Siya and Rachel Kolisi in March 2020, has been a beacon of hope for addressing inequality in South Africa. However, following her split from Springbok captain Siya Kolisi, it appears that Rachel is stepping down from her role as the foundation’s CEO.

Rachel Kolisi’s Departure Confirmed

The news of Rachel’s departure was first shared on social media by the Justice Desk, an anti-gender-based violence (GBV) non-governmental organisation (NGO), on Friday, 28 February.

In their heartfelt post, Justice Desk expressed gratitude for Rachel’s contributions and bid her a warm farewell:

“We were saddened to hear that she will no longer be CEO of the Kolisi Foundation, but we know she will continue to do incredible things.”

Rachel herself subtly confirmed the news by removing ‘CEO of Kolisi Foundation’ from her Instagram bio. Her updated bio now reads: “Student, Mom, Speaker, and Director.”

A New Chapter: Fitness and Healing

Since announcing her split from Siya, Rachel has been open about her healing journey, regularly sharing updates with her followers.

One of her latest projects is a 21-day fitness challenge, which she described as “simple, easy, and super effective.”

Rachel partnered with Jeff Fitness, a company that offers remote exercise guidance via its app. The fitness challenge is set to kick off on 10 March and aims to empower women through exercise.

She revealed that the inspiration behind this challenge came from women who have reached out to her sharing their stories of “heartbreak, loss, devastation, and disparity.”

“Almost always, they ask: where did you start your healing journey…? It was here. Exercising,” Rachel wrote in an Instagram caption.
