Awa Ibraheem Junior Open Tees Off October 21

The 8th Edition of the annual Awa Ibraheem Junior Open Championship for 2021 will officially commence activities from Thursday October 21-23 at the Ikeja Golf Club Lagos.

This development was disclosed recently to SOKOnnect by the organisers revealing that this year’s edition would accommodate kids from age six to 16 (6-16).

According to the program of evevt, Thursday October 21 is arrival, registration and practice round for the players, effect from 4:00 p.m; while October 22, tees off hostilities among the action- thirsty, talented and skillful kids.

In the same vein, Saturday October 23 will round off the playing rounds, just as presentation of trophies for the winners and other ceremonies will begin from 5:00 p.m..

It is also wortthy of note that organisers of the Awa Ibraheem Junior Open, arguably the most celebrated junior championship in Nigeria, have made accommodation and feeding free to lessen the burden on participants.

Incidentally, registration for the event will close down by October 7, just as individuals and teams are advised to communicate the organisers for further information.
