Entirely handmade, it took over 260 hours to complete, featuring more than 10,000 hand-stitched beads and 1,000+ cowrie shells.
Sculpted to perfection, the gown wrapped around Mbatha like modern armor — fierce, elegant, and deeply rooted in Zulu history.
“This look is a love letter to our heritage,” Coetzee shared. “Every cowrie shell, every bead was placed with purpose… It had to speak.”
