
Are you embarrassed of dealing with dark elbows and knees? This is a common problem that is dealt with by men and women both.
As these parts of our body do not have any oil glands, it becomes our sole responsibility to protect them from extensive dryness and provide them with the care and hygiene to remove the dark patches.
1. Aloe vera and milk
Aloe vera contains substances that moisturise your skin and improve uneven skin tone. Rich in antibacterial and antifungal properties, the combination of aloe vera and milk can also be used to lighten your skin naturally.
Step 1: Take equal amounts of milk and aloe vera gel, and apply this mixture on your skin.
2. Sugar and olive oil
This homemade scrub made from olive oil and sugar granules nourishes the skin, hydrates, and removes the dead cells from your skin. It can also be used on your face as a cleanser and scrubber, but make sure to start the process gently.
Step 1: Combine equal amounts of olive oil and sugar and create a fine mixture.
3. Vinegar and yoghurt
The rich acetic acid content in vinegar and lactic acid in yoghurt cleanses your knees and elbows, revealing nourished and glowing skin.
Step 1: Take 1 tablespoon of yoghurt and 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar.
Step 2: Apply this mixture to your skin, and leave it on for 15 minutes. Wash it off with warm water, and repeat this process 4 times a week.
Step 3: You can also apply the apple cider vinegar with some water on your elbows and knees with dips of cotton balls and leave it on for 15 minutes.
