DJ Sabby expresses excitement after bagging a nomination at the South African Radio Awards 2022.
Taking to social media, the DJ revealed that he was nominated for the Best Music Show category.
“Joining @metrofmsa has been a childhood dream from the moment I started my radio journey in 2004. Taking over the iconic chart show was a big deal for me. I knew this was an opportunity to cement my name amongst the greats to have hosted the show,” he wrote.
Months after consistently serving Metro FM’s listeners the star bagged a nod.
12 months later I had the biggest show on the station and yesterday I landed a nomination for BEST MUSIC show for the #METROFMTop40. An acknowledgment from my peers which I truly appreciate. It’s been an honour hosting the chart show,” he added.
“S/O to my technical producer Malcom and the music team for ensuring we deliver quality programming every Saturday.”
