Cubique DJ shares update about his stolen car

South African music producer Cubique DJ has been left heartbroken after discovering what happened to his vehicle that was stolen during the Scorpion Kings Live concert at Loftus Stadium in Pretoria.

Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) page, the star revealed that the tracking company managed to locate the car in Soweto, but it had already been stripped.

Sharing his frustration, he wrote: “Update, tracker found it in Soweto stripped.”

Despite the unfortunate incident, Cubique DJ still took a moment to applaud Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa for hosting what many described as one of the best shows of the year.

Fans quickly reacted to his update, offering words of comfort and encouragement.

One person said: “At least the show was 10/10. Insurance will take care of the car.”

Another added: “Not only was the show 10/10… You are about to get a new car.”

Others expressed relief that he wasn’t present when the car was stolen.

A concerned follower wrote: “Hade mate, just glad you weren’t there when they took it, that’s another trauma I wouldn’t wish on anyone.”

While some questioned how vehicle tracking systems operate, others shared their own fears of attending major events in South Africa due to past incidents.

One user suggested an alternative: “I suggest finding a home not so far from the stadium, ask them to park, and maybe buy a cold drink. Then use Uber to the actual stadium, cause Mzansi.”
