South African R&B star Kelello Segoana, popularly known as Kaylow, has been involved in yet another car accident, just months after a previous crash nearly claimed his life.
The incident reportedly happened in the early hours of Saturday morning while the Close Your Eyes hitmaker was driving home from a late-night studio session.
According to his management, TY Hlangwane of Magnolia Haus Communications, the singer lost control of his white BMW E30 after one of the tyres burst.
“Kaylow was driving home from the studio in the early hours of Saturday morning to his family in Tshwane. Unfortunately, one of his tyres burst and he failed to control the car. He is currently in the hospital recovering,” Hlangwane confirmed.
Emergency responders arrived quickly at the scene, but the vehicle was completely destroyed.
“The car is a complete write-off,” Hlangwane added, noting that a full statement would be released once more information is available.
The news has left fans deeply concerned, as Kaylow was still healing from serious injuries sustained in a crash last September.
That accident left him dependent on crutches and a wheelchair after another driver collided with him while he was out with his son. He suffered severe leg injuries and a fractured pelvic bone, which kept him bedridden for months.
