Cassper Nyovest speaks on his commitment to Fill Up 2025

Cassper Nyovest recently revealed that he was battling heavy financial pressure while preparing for his Fill Up Toyota Stadium concert.

In an emotional Instagram video posted on Wednesday, 3 December 2025, the rapper spoke honestly about the financial losses he had been dealing with in the lead-up to the show.

In the video, Cassper explained that the costs of producing his stadium events often outweigh the revenue they generate, despite strong ticket sales, major sponsors and world-class production.

“Fill Up is always a humbling experience for me because I always have to find reasons to help me carry on. If this were about making money, I’m not making money out of Fill Up, but why do I keep doing it? I keep setting myself up to start another year in debt,” he said.

He admitted that the financial stress has repeatedly made him consider stepping away from organising big events.

“I’m reminded of why I wanted to quit and why I keep saying, ‘This is my last one.’ It’s not easy,” he said, adding that this year’s show faced a “definite loss due to a lack of financial sponsorship.”

Cassper also revealed he had been struggling to pay some suppliers, though many were patient and understanding.

He expressed frustration with potential sponsors who backed out after making promises.

“If I call you tomorrow asking for money, and you’re like, ‘What do you mean, man? You just had a stadium full of people,’ don’t be surprised,” he told fans.

Despite the difficulties, Cassper said the Fill Up series remains deeply meaningful to him.

He emphasised that the event is designed to uplift the culture and connect spiritually with the audience. He described the Toyota Stadium edition as a chance to “save souls and share the gospel,” noting that it would be a “powerful spiritual experience.”
