Nasty C has officially expanded his 2025 album “Free” with the release of a deluxe edition, adding six new songs and extending the project to a total of 22 tracks. The updated version, titled Free (Deluxe) has arrived on across major streaming platforms and builds on the foundation of the original album released in September 2025.
The original Free marked a significant chapter in the rapper’s career. Released through Tall Racks Records, the 16-track album was his first full-length project after departing from Def Jam Recordings and signaled a new independent phase. The project quickly gained traction, surpassing one million streams on Spotify within days and continuing to grow throughout the remainder of 2025.
Six months after the initial release, the deluxe version expands the body of work by adding tracks 17 through 22, bringing the runtime of the project to more than 50 minutes. The additional material introduces new records, reworked versions of existing songs, and fresh collaborations that further extend the sonic direction established in the original release.
Among the newly added songs is “No Typo,” the track was released ahead of the deluxe edition and served as an early preview of the expanded project. The single delivers tightly structured verses and energetic production, setting the tone for the additional material included in the deluxe version.
Another addition is “Head Up 2.0,” which revisits the original motivational record from the album. The updated version introduces layered choral elements through a collaboration with the Soweto Gospel Choir, giving the track a fuller and more expansive sound compared to the initial release. The song appears as the closing entry on the deluxe edition.
Other new songs featured on Free (Deluxe) include “Mi Amor,” “The Heart,” “My Shxx,” and “Shmokin 2.0.” These additions expand the project’s narrative while maintaining the original album’s core structure. The first 16 songs remain unchanged, including tracks such as “Leftie (Dlala Ngcobo)” featuring Blxckie, “Soft” with Usimamane, and “Not Tonight” featuring Tshego.
With the deluxe release, the album’s tracklist now spans from the original opening sequence to the newly added material, extending from track 17 through track 22. The expanded edition continues the rollout of the Free era while introducing additional music to accompany the project’s initial run.
Free (Deluxe) is now available for streaming globally, marking the latest chapter in Nasty C’s independent catalogue following the success of the original album.
