Kasi Kulture 2.0 Highlights Township IdentityA Campaign Rooted in Real StoriesAbout The Blue Falcon GroupAbout Skipper Bar

Johannesburg, South Africa – 18 March 2026 — Township culture is once again taking centre stage as Skipper Bar announces the return of Kasi Kulture, a campaign that celebrates the heart, creativity, and everyday hustle of South Africa’s kasi communities.

Now back for its second edition, Kasi Kulture 2.0 arrives bigger and bolder. The campaign shines a spotlight on the authentic energy found in township streets, from fashion and music to the relentless hustle that defines the kasi lifestyle.

This year’s campaign features well-known South African artists Kid X, Masterpiece YVK, and Umtanakubo, each of whom reflects the sound, influence, and spirit of township culture.

Kasi Kulture 2.0 Highlights Township Identity

Through a mix of digital storytelling and cultural conversations, Skipper Bar is inviting people across South Africa to share their own experiences of Kasi Kulture. This includes how they dress, how they hustle, and the pride they carry for where they come from.

The campaign continues to position township culture as a powerful force in shaping trends and identity across the country. It recognises the kasi not only as a place of residence, but as a source of inspiration, creativity, and ambition.

“Township culture has always been one of the biggest drivers of trends in South Africa,” says Skipper Bar Brand Manager Tevin Sebela. “With Kasi Kulture, we want to celebrate that authenticity and show love to the communities that continue to inspire music, fashion, and lifestyle across the country.”

A Campaign Rooted in Real Stories

For many South Africans, the kasi is far more than just a place. It is where dreams are built, where creativity thrives, and where culture is born.

With Kasi Kulture 2.0, Skipper Bar continues to honour the real stories, real people, and real pride that make township culture one of the most influential forces in South Africa today.

South Africans are encouraged to join the online conversation by sharing what Kasi Kulture means to them using the hashtag #SkipperBarKasiKulture2.
