The project has already introduced several tracks to the public, each contributing to the foundation of the album’s storyline. These include Welcome To The T.R.I.O (Intro), PHAMBILI featuring Bravo Le Roux, BATHIN’? featuring Holy Alpha, Call You and now It’s Over featuring Lurah.

Driemanskap, formed i has long been recognised for their role in shaping Spaza hip-hop, a style deeply rooted in isiXhosa lyricism blended with Cape Flats expressions and English. The group has maintained a reputation for storytelling that reflects everyday township realities while carrying a strong cultural identity. Often referring to themselves as the “Spaza Gods,” they have continued to uphold a presence defined by consistency and lyrical precision.

Their recent work shows continued activity in the South African hip-hop landscape, with Call You released in 2025 and additional creative plans extending into 2026, including performances and visual projects.

Lurah joins the track as a Cape Town based hip-hop and trap artist known for his sharp writing style and distinct local perspective. He has built recognition through projects such as New Drug 2 and early anticipation around his upcoming work ND3. His catalogue often blends modern trap elements with grounded storytelling, and he has previously collaborated with several artists within the Cape Town music circuit, further strengthening his presence in the scene.

As Trio – Chapter 1 moves toward its full release, the steady unveiling of tracks continues to position the project as a layered introduction to Driemanskap’s next phase, with It’s Over now adding to the growing catalogue ahead of the complete album experience.
