Pcee has officially postponed the Mozambique leg of his Musical Mania African Tour following concerns linked to what has been described as the “7 Days Without Amapiano” protest in the country.
The announcement was shared on Instagram through an official notice released alongside Solid Space and Urban Entertainment Worldwide, confirming that the scheduled performances set for the 8th and 9th of May will no longer take place as planned.

According to the statement, the decision was made in response to the ongoing situation affecting communities during this period, with the team opting not to proceed with entertainment activities while tensions and uncertainty remain present. Instead, the postponement was framed as a gesture of respect and awareness toward those impacted.
The message also carried a reflective tone, with Pcee and his team using the announcement to speak against violence and division, while encouraging unity through music, culture and shared identity. The statement concluded with a message that resonated widely online: “at the end of the day, WE ARE ALL AFRICANS.”
Over the past few years, Pcee has established himself as one of the rising voices in South African dance music, gaining recognition for his energetic performances and viral influence within the Amapiano movement. His connection with audiences has extended beyond music, often engaging openly about challenges within the entertainment industry.
Earlier this year, he also sparked discussion after addressing financial pressures faced by artists despite commercial success, further positioning him as one of the younger voices willing to speak candidly about the realities of the industry.
The Mozambique shows had been highly anticipated, and their postponement has left many supporters disappointed. However, the response online has largely reflected understanding, with fans acknowledging the reasoning behind the decision.
While new dates for the Mozambique leg have not yet been confirmed, the team has indicated that updates will be shared in due course. For now, the focus remains on the broader message of solidarity and unity during a sensitive period.
