South African rapper Nasty C and longtime collaborator Tellaman have recently been spending time in studio camp as they prepare their upcoming joint album titled “Ts and Cs Apply.” The project was confirmed during a recent interview on 5FM radio, where the two artists gave insight into the progress and direction of the body of work.

Speaking during the interview, Nasty C shared that the project is nearing completion. He explained, “I’m not one to gas myself up but it’s so good,” referring to the state of the album. He further added that the project is approximately 95% complete, indicating that final touches are being made before release.

Describing the overall sound, Nasty C noted that the project leans more towards R&B than hip hop. He said, “It’s more R&B than hip hop, it’s a winter album for sure, it’s got some summer bangers in there but majority of it is for cosy vibes, it’s for the ladies.” His comments suggest a blend of smooth, melodic production with a focus on softer, more emotional tones compared to traditional rap-heavy projects.

Tellaman, who has worked closely with Nasty C on multiple records over the years, also contributed to the conversation by highlighting the vocal direction of the project. He mentioned that Nasty C is taking on more singing elements than usual, adding, “Nasty is gonna be singing there, high notes and stuff.” This indicates a continuation of both artists exploring more melodic territory within their sound.

The collaboration between Nasty C and Tellaman is not new, as the two have previously worked together on several tracks across different projects. Their earlier collaborations include songs such as “So High” and “Don’t Do It,” where Tellaman featured alongside Nasty C, as well as Tellaman’s track “Noma Kanjani,” which featured Nasty C. They also contributed to Nasty C’s 2023 album “I Love It Here,” where Tellaman appeared on songs including “Pops,” “Sunset Walks,” and “Know Yourself.” In addition, Tellaman also featured on Nasty C’s 2025 project “FREE” on the track “Big Timing,” further extending their ongoing musical partnership.

With “Ts and Cs Apply” currently in its final stages, both artists continue building on a long-standing creative partnership that blends rap and R&B influences. The project is expected to reflect a softer, melodic direction while still incorporating elements from their hip hop backgrounds.
