South African Afro-pop artist Ndu Browns is set to take another major step in his growing solo career as he prepares for his first-ever tour in India this coming Friday and Saturday, with more dates expected to be announced soon.
The artist shared the exciting news with fans on social media, posting: “First time in INDIA 🇮🇳 THIS ONE IS FOR THE BOOKS.” The announcement quickly drew attention from supporters across South Africa and beyond as the singer continues to expand his reach internationally.
Known as one half of award-winning duo Blaq Diamond alongside Danya Devs, Ndu Browns has recently been focusing on building his individual catalogue while still maintaining ties with the group. Over the years, Blaq Diamond became one of South Africa’s leading Afro-pop acts through hit records and emotionally driven storytelling that connected with audiences across the continent.
The India tour announcement arrives during an active period for the musician, who is also preparing to release his third solo single titled “Jerusalema” alongside Londie London. The track is scheduled for release on Friday after both artists recently teased the collaboration online.
Before “Jerusalema,” Ndu Browns released “Summer Rain (Phuma Langa),” a collaboration featuring fellow Blaq Diamond member Danya Devs. The single marked another important release in his growing solo journey and continued to showcase the chemistry between the longtime collaborators.
In 2025, the singer officially introduced his solo era with the release of “Ubuhle Bakho,” a song that highlighted a more personal and experimental side of his artistry. The release came as Ndu Browns confirmed that his solo work would not signal the end of Blaq Diamond, but rather an expansion of his creative direction.
Apart from his own releases, the artist has also remained active through collaborations. He was recently featured on Tshego’s latest release, “NO 2ND CHANCES,” adding another high-profile appearance to his recent run of music releases.
With international performances now added to his growing list of achievements, Ndu Browns continues to build momentum both as a solo artist and as a member of one of South Africa’s most recognised Afro-pop groups
