Somizi Mhlongo has kicked off plans to celebrate his 50th birthday and 40th anniversary in the South African entertainment industry.
The media personality will turn a new age in December 2022, but he will be marking the major milestones with a concert which is to hold on the 23rd of January 2023, in Sun City. Taking to Instagram, Som shared the flier of the Golden Jubilee celebration.
”So, I’m turning 50 in December, and there’s no way it’s just gonna be an ordinary day. God has been and still is amazing to me and I wanna celebrate in a big way. You guys have also played a huge role in my life and career and still here with me moving forward.
“So I called all my friends in the arts industry (music, theatre, television, sports, politics) to join me on stage on the 28th January 2023 @suncityresortsa Super Bowl in front of thousands of my supporters watching live. It’s gonna be a concert to remember for years to come.
“Also celebrating over 4 decades in showbiz… booking info and line up to be revealed soon… stay tuned,” he wrote.
