Youth Games: Delta Takes Lead Again

Team Delta has taken an unassailable lead on the medals table at the ongoing sixth edition of the National Youth Games holding in Ilorin Kwara State.

Team Delta which has twelve gold medals barely two days into the games began its medals haul in the Artistic Gymnastics, where itt claimed five gold and two bronze medals.

The defending champions increased its medals haul in Cycling after claiming gold in the female ten kilometers time trial.

The Team Delta continued garnering gold after collecting five gold in swimming at the Ilorin Township Stadium, Swimming Pool.

The team not relenting picked another gold in gymnastics to take its medals haul to twelve putting the defending champions in good stead to win the National Youth Games trophy for keeps for the second time having won it five times earlier.
