AKA has taken to his social media to correct a tweep who thinks he has “abolished” amapiano.

The rapper and K.O have been all over social media after they dropped Lemonade and Sete respectively.

However, a tweep thinks they have put an end to the genre after releasing their single.

The tweep also went ahead to advise other artistes to look at for the now relevant genre.

“Not @akaworldwide and @MrCashtime abolishing amapiano with lemonade and sete respectively . After all these years of yano dominance . They just released singles that put an end to it  others should take notes not escape to the now relevant genre”

Responding to that, AKA claims that amapaino is an indigenous South African sound and it can never be

“Amapiano is an indigenous South African sound, it can never be “abolished”
