Glen Kotzen’s charge had a great introduction to racing when a 1.40-length second behind
Arbitrator. Richard Fourie has the ride this time and this Elusive Fort gelding can get punters off
to a winning start.

RACE 5: QUARTET: DOUBLE FLOAT 6-HAMPTON COURT AND 8-PACIFIC WINTER WITH THE FIELD
This is probably the most open race on the card and any of 10 runners could win. What makes
this race particularly tricky is that none of the runners has decent form over the course and
distance. These two have reasonable form over the distance so we have taken a chance with
them.
The full cost is R672 but one can take from 1% (R6.80) upwards. The best value is 10% at
R67.20.
