MaWhoo is a singer-songwriter and a powerhouse vocalist who is set to release her debut EP, WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE. The songstress now established herself as a go-to vocalist for emotional and spiritually-inclined songs after appearing on Oscar Mbo’s ‘Moya Wami’, Wanitwa Mos’s ‘Ngiyamthanda’, and more recently Sam Deep’s ‘Thokoza’. For ‘WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE’ she enlists regular collaborators DJ Maphorisa, Kabza De Small, and Sam Deep among the impressive list of contributors.
MaWhoo dropped a lead single for the forthcoming body of work titled ‘Kulula’ featuring Piano titans, Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa. The banger has officially been added on Spotify’s ‘Amapiano Grooves’.
