Lolly Theeillest fell in Love with the art of writing lyrics and poetry at the age of 11 drawing inspiration from artists such as Proverb, HPP, Khuli Chana & Pro Kid. Her original verse stanzas would earn praise from her peers and local artists generally, which birthed an interest in potentially making music professionally. She continues to brand herself and independently records and pushes her music with the help of her team utilizing each experience as a learning curve to better grow her brand She has worked with national acts such as Stilo magolide, Ikumkani, Lection, Maraza etc and plans to do a lot more brand collaborations in the near future.
We got to feature her on our Hot On The Streets segment for both an interview and live performance and she had a lot to share as she spoke about her single ‘Diary Of A Blessed Black Woman’.
