Reality TV star and controversial businesswoman Shauwn “MamMkhize” Mkhize has declared December her month to welcome new makotis.
MamMkhize made this declaration as she celebrated her “other son”, social media personality Shaun Stylist (Shaun Andile Naki), who took the big step to marry his pregnant girlfriend this week.
“A big day for my big son. December is truly a month of love and in my case a month of welcoming a new Makoti in the family.
“I am so privileged to have watched you grow and become the man that you are today @shaunstylist. You’ve come a long way past the hardships and heartaches and now you can finally rest your heart. Welcome Anele to the family, we love you two and are looking forward to witnessing this beautiful love story. Makwande,” she wrote while sharing pictures of the young couple.
She also tagged the other Mpisane and Mkhize children, stating “trend has started next year December one of you must show up”.
Shaun has a close affiliation with the family, developed in recent years and is believed to be Andile and Tamia’s stylist and personal shopper.
His nuptials came just days before Tamia Mpisane celebrated her birthday on 13 December.
Andile and Tamia Mpisane’s upcoming anniversary

It has already been a year since MamMkhize’s son Andile’s controversial engagement with Tamia Louw.
The engagement pictures trended for days after Tamia was unveiled as Andile’s bride at a time when he was thought to be in a relationship with the mother of his two small children, Sithelo Shozi.
Andile shared pictures and videos from their engagement around this time last December, and shortly after he posted the content on his Instagram profile, Tamia changed her surname from Louw to Mpisane on her Instagram profile.
Their engagement and rumoured traditional wedding celebrations came shortly after Sithelo and Andile welcomed their second baby together – a baby girl named Likuwe “Coco” Mpisane.
Their older daughter, Flo, turned 1 in May 2021 and she was named after Mpisane’s grandmother, political icon Florence Mkhize.
Months earlier, Sithelo threw her followers for a loop when she joked that she was married to Mpisane.
MamMkihze shut all that down in December when she welcomed her new Makoti, saying it was “emotional” to witness her child find happiness.
