Two scratchings from this race have paved the way for the Ipi Tombe Stakes champion to notch up
her third win. She is coming back in distance but is the best handicapped runner and looks
impossible to oppose.
VALUE BET
RACE 3: NO 9 DONTSHOOTTHEBARMAN – EACHWAY
This is an interesting runner. He was green in his first race but still produced the fastest 400m
to finish, while in his second run he lost any chance by being squeezed out at the start but was
only beaten by 5.95 lengths.
This time he races around the turn for the first time and is drawn No 1. It is interesting that
jockey Calvin Habib has stuck with him.
