Some of those that are said to be on their way out of Chloorkop are some members of the technical team, although club head coach, Rulani Mokwena, has denied any intentions of releasing senior staff members.
Phakaaathi understands that Mokwena has a team he wishes to employ at Chloorkop as a reaffirmation of his rule at the club.
A couple of weeks ago, the former Orlando Pirates mentor let go of are Riedoh Berdien, fitness coach, and assistant goalkeeper coach Marcus Mashilong when the side was preparing for the resumption of the DStv Premiership in Polokwane.
It has now emerged that Mokwena is considering letting go of a couple of players, even though Mokwena has said no one has come to him to ask to leave, “but that does not stop him from trimming and making additions to his squad”, a source revealed.

“One thing that people must understand is that every coach has his own plans and wants to run the club their way. There are some players at Sundowns who Mokwena is not entirely fond of and in the next couple of days, they will be revealed when the club makes moves in the transfer window,” a source said.
While Sundowns does not consider any player to be a fringe, there are, however, a couple of players who the coach is believed to be less impressed about.
At the same time, this publication has been led to believe that there are a number of players who Mokwena has set his sights on as far as reinforcing the defending DStv Premiership champions is concerned.
