Here’s why AKA is not on Cotton Fest JHB line up for 2023
AKA explains why he was not on the Cotton Fest Johannesburg line-up for 2023.
The line-up was released on Sunday, and it comprised of over 100 South African musicians.
However, AKA whose real name is Kiernan Forbes is not on the list and it left his fans curious as he has performed at the festival before the initiator, Riky Rick passed-on.
Taking to Twitter, the rapper said the organisers couldn’t come to an agreement with him, but he urged people to get their tickets.
“We couldn’t come to an agreement but I wish them nothing but the best!! Get your tickets now,” he wrote.
Followers presumed that the agreement was on money as Nota Baloyi once revealed that the organisers demand artists should perform for free.
