Philani Kweyama says Kiernan Forbes was at his happiest on Friday night.

Kwayema is one of the people who was with the slain rapper — also known as AKA — during his last moments.

The rapper and his former manager, Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane, were shot dead outside Kweyama’s restaurant.

Kweyama says AKA had big plans for his music career this year.

Forbes had told Kweyama that he would promote his restaurant.

“He was excited about being in Durban,” says Kweyama.

“It is so so sad, I am sad that it happened here.”
