Yvonne Chaka Chaka inspires many after receiving a degree from Horris Causa, Doctor of Performing Arts from the Tshwane University of Technology.
This is the musician’s third degree and she’s excited about it.
“Being appreciated while I am still alive means a lot to me,” she tells Zimoja.
“For me, this is a very special moment and I wish my mom was here to witness it. This is my third honorary doctorate degree, and I am so much under pressure to continue furthering my studies.”
“Today was such an emotional day thank you @tut_official2 to everyone who attended the function words cannot express how I feel, I am encouraged to study further and acquire more knowledge. I have realised that you are never too old to learn,” she captioned Instagram post.
