Tipcee says she is not broke

Tipcee reacts to rumors of being broke.

The singer was reported to be struggling after leaving DJ Tira’s Afrotainmant record label in 2022.

Speaking to TshishaLIVE, the Gqom singer says all that was revealed by her friend were false.

“No it’s not true, and I’m dropping a single soon, and then an EP. The rumors have been trending since yesterday. There was this one friend of mine who was stirring up trouble,” she said.

“I’ve been with Afrotainment for five years, even on Instagram the new song is there. I’m all right, I’m alive. I’m at Westville in my home. Everything was fine until this thing yesterday,” she added.

The friend revealed to Zimoja that Tipcee left because she wasn’t appreciated.

“Tipcee left because she wasn’t feeling appreciated, and she wanted to teach them a lesson. She felt she was invisible and she could do it on her own, forgetting that the music industry is not easy,” said the source.
