Langa Mavuso bids farewell to his soulmate Chef Lentswe

Langa Mavuso mourns the death of his lover, Chef Lentswe Bhengu. The singer and the late chef were together for 7 years. Speaking after Lentswe’s passing, Langa says they both loved each other.

“Regardless of the strain, we always knew we loved each other, and it was aptly said in every text, which ended with the words ‘Love first, Love always.’ But today, I must find new ways to embody that love and find a new place to share my heart.

“He is the smile that captured us all. And his laughter filled every room. I don’t know how to begin to say goodbye when there is still so much love to give,” he added.

The singer has taken to his Instagram stories to pay tribute to Lentswe who died on the night of 28th of February at Sandton Medi-Clinic after a short illness. Chef Lentswe Bhengu-Mafoko’s family said in a statement last week that he died on the night of 28th of February at Sandton Medi-Clinic after a short illness.‍

‍A second memorial service will be held on Tuesday, 7 March at Durban High School from 4 pm and will be hosted by Durban High School Boys and at The Playhouse Company from 5 pm hosted by friends and industry colleagues.

Lentswe will be buried in Durban at the Amanzimtoti Civic Centre Hall on March 8 from 10.30 am

The Bhengu-Mafoko family has announced the untimely passing of Chef Lentswe.

According to a statement, Lentswe passed on February 28th in JHB.
