J’Something appreciates the presence of his mother and wife at his newly launched restaurant, Artistry, which is located in Johannesburg. A week after opening the new business, the musician’s mother was once had a restaurant supported her son’s new venture as she was seen also cooking. J’s wife was also there presence gladdens his heart.
“My mother arrived yesterday and she went straight into the kitchen at @artistryjhb … What a special moment for me personally. I grew up in my moms restaurant.
She had a joint called Butlers Riverside Restaurant in Port Alfred and I would spend all my days there after school. This is not only where my love for service developed but also my love for music. It was all about the music that was playing, the energy on the floor and in the kitchen and then seeing the joy it would bring to my mom when people were happy,” he wrote.
“Fast forward to today here I am having my own restaurant and my mother cooking in my kitchen, what a blessing.
