Shaka Madida who is the son of Zakes Bantwini and Nandi Madida is preparing for his artwork exhibition.
The mother of the 6-year-old announced in November 2022 that the young artist will be marking his 7th birthday this year with an exhibition of his artworks.
Nandi returned to social media this Wednesday to remind people that preparation for the project has begun as Shaka has started drawing and is also being mentored.
“@ShakaMadidaArt is excited to showcase his artwork “Sonic and friends exhibition” for his birthday in November,” she wrote.
“My brother @fhatuwanimukheli is busy preparing for his monumental debut at the art residency in Spread Museum – France at the end of the month (he plays it down but the likes of Van Gogh have showcased there) and yet he still took time to mentor my son Shaka’s talent and love for Art.”
“He even signs his work now! Love that he’s a big dreamer and a very confident one aswell.. PS: I love this age where one explores their passions and talents.”
