Katlego Danke goes legal against media houses and brands that reported having a second child with Patrice Motsepe. A few days ago, the actress trended as people reacted to the rumor of her relationship with the billionaire. It was reported that Katlego’s first child belongs to the businessman and they are expecting a second child together.
Asides from both parties denying the reports, Danke further went legal as she sent a letter through her lawyers to a media house that published the alleged report.
“We are instructed that on 7 March 2023, you published and/or disseminated a tweet on your Twitter account which is false and defamatory of our client. To date, the tweet has been viewed by 2.2 million Twitter users and has 2096 retweets,” ZiMoja revealed.
“The tweet is individually and/or cumulatively, demonstrably false and/or constitutes actionable defamation of our client. It is based on gossip. It is deliberately and maliciously intended to, and in any event has the effect of, insulting the dignity of our client, diminishing her professional and social standing, and portraying her as a homewrecker and a person with loose or no morals,” the legal document goes on to say. “For the record, Ms. Danke categorically denies that she (a) is or has ever been in a romantic relationship with Dr. Patrice Motsepe; (b) has any children with Dr. Motsepe; and (c) is pregnant at the moment.
Katlego Danke demands an apology from the media house, which will be published on the front cover of their publication, and on other social media platforms. The deadline for the demand is 12h00 on Friday, 17 March 2023; failure to oblige will have the actress seeking justice through a high court.
