‘Piano Republik’, the collaborative album by South African duo Major League Djz and US EDM trio Major Lazer is finally here.
As the title suggests, the album is Amapiano, and it features a diverse guestlist that includes international stars such as TY Dolla $ign, Tiwa Savage and Joeboy alongside South African stars Msaki, Gaba Cannal and even the late Brenda Fassie’s vocals from her smash hit ‘Vulindlela’.
The album elevates Amapiano further into the international scene as Major Lazer are giants in the dance music scene. Major League Djz are surely pushing the envelope as ambassadors of SA music and producers.
