Uncle Waffles shines on Billboard publication following the release of her second project titled, Asylum.
While speaking to the international editorial team, the South African star who was labeled the Amapiano princess explained why she dances while DJing.
“I tend to use my dance moves to translate the music, so you’re going to see what the song says even if you don’t understand it,” says the 23-year-old artist.
Waffles who broke to fame through a video clip of her dancing while playing Young Stunna’s Adiwele will be performing for the first time at this year’s Coachelle.
Uncle Waffles is excited about the gig and in the space of two years, she’s grown herself to become a self-acclaimed international DJ.
