Greg Mallett, Former Springbok coach Nick Mallett’s nephew, married his girlfriend of 11 years, Lady Amelia Spencer, on 21 March.
The couple, who met while studying at the University of Cape Town, returned to the Western Cape to exchange their wedding vows.
They were married on a mountain top at sunset, at the picturesque Quoin Rock Wine Estate in Stellenbosch.

Lady Amelia Spencer and Greg Mallet’s wedding
Lady Amelia Spencer looked stunning as she walked down the aisle in a custom-made Versace gown on the arm of her brother Samuel Atkin.
Speaking to royalist weekly magazine, Hello! Amelia said Samuel is the other love of her life so it just made so much sense for him to walk her down the aisle.
“He was born when I was 11 and we have a very, very special relationship. He even said in his speech at the wedding that up until the age of seven, he believed I was his ‘other mum’,” Amelia told the publication during an interview.
Amelia said her wedding gown, which featured a two-and-a-half metre train and Swarovski crystals, had a special link to her late aunt Diana.
Princess Diana and Gianni Versace were close friends and the former Princess often stepped out wearing one of his designs.
Amelia told Hello! that she thinks Diana would have been very proud to see her on her wedding day.
Magical Maldives honeymoon
The newly weds are honeymooning at the chick Coco Bodu Hithi Resort in Maldives.
Amelia took to Instagram on Wednesday to share some snaps of their romantic getaway. Friends and family streamed to the comment section to gush over the beautiful destination and Greg’s six pack.
They spend their honeymoon days enjoying the beautiful crystal clear waters of the island, sun bathing, snorkelling and jet-skiing.
From Greg’s Instagram stories it appears that they are still enjoying the sunshine on the island.
