Prince Kaybee signs deal with Ingrooves Africa music group.
This new deal comes weeks after leaving Universal Music Group; the DJ’s contract with the company lasted for 8 years and he wasn’t happy about how the label treated his music career; hence, he was excited to leave.
“The parties have agreed to mutually terminate the Agreement with effect from 3 April 2023 and UM releases you from the delivery of any further recording in terms of the Agreement,” reads the statement released by UMG.
“UM shall continue to commercially exploit the recordings, accountant make payment(if due) to you in terms of the Agreement.”
Taking to social media, Kaybee signs a deal with the music distribution company.
“Yo Dintshang, We would like to welcome @princekaybee_sa to the Ingrooves family. Looking forward to this new journey with you. Welcome to the family!!”
