The official trailer of a new take on the classical musical – The Colour Purple has dropped, and the cast encompasses some of the best talents in music.
A collaboration between Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, Quincy Jones and Scott Sanders and directed by Blitz Bazawule, who also directed Beyonce‘s Black Is King, is coming to our screens this December.
The cast includes Taraji P. Henson, Halle Bailey, H.E.R., Fantasia Barrino, Ciara, Colman Domingo, Corey Hawkins and more.
