Regardless of tough criticism from social media users over her “stiff” dance moves, Beyonce has heaped praise on her daughter Blue Ivy. This, was after the 11-year-old joined her superstar mom on stage at a concert over the weekend.
The firstborn child of the star and husband, Jay Z, made a guest appearance during her Paris performance this week as part of her Renaissance world tour.
On Instagram, Beyonce shared several clips of Blue Ivy on stage with her.
And the mom-of-three – who broke character by posting a caption on her post – was clearly in defence mode.
She shared: “My beautiful firstborn. I’m so proud and thankful to be your mama. You bring us so much joy, my sweet angel”.

Over the weekend, Blue Ivy made a surprise appearance alongside Beyonce’s backup dancers.
The preteen wore a metallic silver two-piece outfit and a pair of shades as she bopped to tracks like Bloodline, My Power, and Black Parade.

Despite giving her best effort, many social media users trolled Blue for being “stiff.”
@Am_Blujay: “Blue Ivy is too stiff for a Beyonce kid, but we forget whose genes also participated.”
@Mar_cusG: “People are busy sugarcoating the fact that she can’t dance because she’s Beyoncé’s child.”
On the flip side, others defend the child, claiming her dance moves were “age appropriate.”
@tobimanish: “I like how she’s dancing like a child. Nothing over-s.e.xualised. Just easy”
@iampamelabello: “She danced appropriately like a child should in front of 80,000 people and the whole world”.
Dear Black Women, Blue Ivy is 11 years old performing for the first time in front of 80k people. Stop hypersexualizing her saying she’s too stiff or making inappropriate comments about be body. Y’all are no different than the men. She’s a child. Y’all acting like Pedos. pic.twitter.com/ydb5SaZsX8
