Amapiano star Lady Du has penned a sweet appreciation note to DBN Gogo on her 30th birthday.
Lady Du is no stranger to praising and expressing her admiration for other musicians, and she would often write a lengthy post on social media to show love to them. The performer complimented Lady Du for being such a great friend and shared how the DJ had helped her a lot during her difficult times.
“I have a whole book to write about what you have done for me, firstly I’d love to thank you for all that you are, for helping me pull through most of my hardships, for helping me find the best lawyers, for calling every day and sending me voice notes when I needed someone to be there.”
“Last year was the worst time of my life but having you as a friend has been amazing. Thank you for your big heart, thank you for your love. Happy birthday love of my life!!!! I pray for your safety and protection everyday,” she wrote.
Lady Du recently penned a heartfelt message to Uncle Waffles following her performance at Coachella.
“I don’t think people know what this verse stands for!!!! It’s a message to all the people trying to pull each other down, those that are infected by jealousy, so sithi ngena esbedlele admit yourself because we are still going to succeed!!!!”
Further, she recalled their old conversation in which she said that she should chase her dreams because they are limitless.

I would like to take my hat off for you and congratulate you from the purest place of my heart!!!! You have made us proud. you are a true example of dreams coming true and a key to a lot of doors! We are proud of South Africa and wish you more wealth, good health, and a lot of protection!!!”
