Connie Ferguson is best known for her on-screen character of Karabo Moroka on SABC 1’s drama series Generations.

Connie Ferguson opened up about her road to success at the MANCOSA Jacaranda FM Business Breakfast.

Speaking at the business breakfast, she revealed how she established Ferguson Films after kissing her lead role goodbye on the hit drama series Generations.

Years later, Ferguson Film quickly became one of the biggest production houses in South Africa and Africa.

Ferguson Films has produced many bog-budget drama series, including Kings of Jo’burg and The Queen.

Connie Ferguson also said that one’s brand is one’s legacy. She said, “I have a bankable name. That is my brand. Your brand is your legacy. It shows that you were here.”

In her opening speech, Deirdre King, Managing Director of Jacaranda FM, also discussed one’s legacy: “Your legacy is built on how you lead and how you make others feel along the way.”

Against the business breakfast, Connie Ferguson has been trending.

However, against the trends, The South African has since connected the dots about Connie Ferguson’s business empire and some of her big wins on and off-screen.
