Solly Moholo’s daughter accused of spending donation money for her late dad’s medical bill

Social media users recently criticized the late gospel legend Solly Moholo’s daughter, Louisa Molokoane, after she shared a video of herself shopping at high-end stores like Gucci and Louis Vuitton.

In the clip, Louisa walks with paper bags, escorted by an armed security guard.

Many viewers accused her of spending money donated by the public for her father’s medical expenses.

Solly Moholo, known for hits like Robala ka Kgotso and Mfelegetse, passed away in October 2024 after a prolonged illness.

During his time in the hospital, the family had asked for public donations to help with medical costs, as they struggled to cover them independently.

At the funeral, family members mentioned that the total donations reached R100k, which fell short of their needs.

In response to the backlash, Louisa defended herself on Instagram, saying that the funds she used were unrelated to public donations.

She challenged critics to show proof of their claims, clarifying that any shopping she did was funded by personal means, not charity.

“There are battles we faced behind the scenes,” she wrote, adding that she felt heartbroken by the assumptions and negative comments.
