Orlando Pirates are known to keep their fees and player salaries away from the media and thai latest episode has upset them.

Souaibou’s agent Mike Makaab of ProSport International says the release of a statement of confirmation of the deal by Cottonport has messed up the deal.

“I can tell you that that statement was released prematurely because the deal has not been concluded,” Makaab told Gagasi FM Sport on Monday.

“And we are very annoyed. I know that Orlando Pirates are very annoyed because that is not how the chairman operates.

“What has happened is that somewhere along the line, a source within the club, or someone connected to someone within the club has released the details of the deal.

“But that is not how Orlando Pirates operates, that is not how we operate as a professional agency.

“I can assure you that the deal has not been done, and the chances are that it now won’t be done based on the fact that it was released in a very unprofessional manner.

“We are not sure where we will go from here,” explained Makaab who is representing the Cameroonian.

The rumours that Orlando Pirates will add Souaibou’s name onto their roster started just before the start of the Fifa World Cup in Qatar.

Suoaibou was part of Cameroon’s squad but did not get a chance to play as the side crashed out in the first round.

He comes highly recommended having won the Player of the Year award in his native land after helping Cottonport to their first league title in a while.
