Ithuba celebrates the biggest winner of the year so far.

Another lucky player has joined the millionaires’ club after matching five numbers and the PowerBall in Tuesday’s draw.

The player, who purchased their ticket through the FNB banking app, won R110.9 million from the Tuesday PowerBall draw.

“The national lottery keeps creating winners, like the lucky PowerBall winner who won a jaw-dropping jackpot of over R110 million from the 8 April draw,” announced Ithuba on Wednesday.

Two more lucky players matched five numbers and walked away with R352 000 each from the same draw.

No one won the PowerBall Plus.

This was the biggest jackpot and winner of the year, after the R100 million on 24 January.

Earlier that week, another banking app player won over R30 million in the draw on 21 January.

The lucky player managed to match five numbers and a PowerBall in the PowerBall Plus jackpot.

Last month, another player walked away with R47.7 million from the 28 March draw.

According to Ithuba, the player purchased their tickets in Mandeni, KwaZulu-Natal.

“Hearing how our winners’ lives are positively impacted is what drives us to continue working hard to offer these significant jackpots. Ithuba has ensured an inclusive lottery for all, through convenient ways in which participants can buy tickets,” says CEO Charmaine Mabuza.
