Beginners Golf Challenge Passionate On Partnership

After two editions of successful and eventful golfing RockMade organisers of Beginners Golf Challenge are beginning to show keen interest in partnership as all is set for the third edition come December 21, 2024 at the Abeokuta Golf Club in Ogun State.

The development, Mubasiru Sanusi, CEO of RockMade said in an interview with SOKOnnect recently would enhance the dreams of the organisation in its passionate golf development agenda at all levels.

Sanusi, a top professional player with Abeokuta Golf Club commenting on the preparations for the 2024 edition affirmed, “RockMade is doing everything possible to ensure the coming 2024 edition is successful by putting necessary logistics in place.”

“However, it’s not an exaggeration that we’re in a very tough situation at the moment in Nigeria, it’s against this background that I want to say we’re now open for partnership with individuals and organisations. It would help us expand speedily on the development of the game of golf,” he said.

Beginners Golf Challenge which teed off in 2022 December 16 at the Abeokuta Golf Club, was designed to give new comers the opportunity to have a feel of the game of golf and eventually build on it.

No fewer than 100 players which includes the Beginners, sponsors and invited professionals will be participating in the 2024 edition; golf clinic will also be organised for the kids, just as prizes will be given to the best players and coaches at the end of the one-day event.

RockMade however, appreciated the current exco of the Abeokuta Golf Club led by its Captain, Prof Kolawole Adebayo, for the unflinching support so far as well as everyone who has contributed towards ensuring the success of the 2024 edition.
