Following the release of ‘burnt and turnt’ earlier this week, Blxckie drops his first single pack of the year titled ‘pappa fetti’. The two songs are produced by Herc Cut The Lights who he works closely with. They locked in studio during the course of December and managed to record about 1000 songs.
The first song ‘papa’ is a 1-minute-25-second energetic banger where Blxckie raps about how he gained his GOAT Status. Blxckie flexes his rap muscle, spitting about earning his seat at the table as he continues to live his life and work hard.
The second song ‘fetti’ comes with a catchy one-liner hook and features Emtee and they tap into their winner element with fiery bars. Emtee opens the song, rapping, “I bought a brand new whip/ niggas be mad and shit” and declares that if it ain’t about the guap then he’s not taking that call. Blxckie teased the song on IG Live earlier this month and invited Emtee to jump on it.
‘papa fetti’ is one of many in a string of releases by Blxckie in the last few months. The EP ‘THE4MULA’ was Blxckie back rap mode after a year spent promoting the R&B EP ‘4LUV’. Earlier this year, he dropped the ‘4THESOCIALS’ freestyle and recently a song on SoundCloud called ‘burnt & turnt’. This was after him and his crew Clout Internet Boyz dropped a 25-track tape on Christmas.
It’s only January and Somnyama has dropped more music than other rappers will drop in a year. As he raps on ‘fetti’, “I am in the sky with the angels”, it seems there’s no stopping him.
