The 2022 Ladies European Tour (LET) sanctioned Magical Kenya Ladies Open Golf Tournament came to an exciting end Sunday February 13 as Nigeria international Georgia Oboh finished strong.

Tied 32, in the event which held at Kilifi County, Oboh played 77, 75, 74, 73 (299) over four days in the €300,000 prize money tournament won by Esther Henseleit of Germany who played 74, 73, 69, 70 (286).

Elated Oboh in a chat with SOKOnnect after the event however, affirmed the position was a decent result, “It’s a great way to open the season in Kenya and Africa,” against the backdrop that she would work on the loopholes ahead of the next tournament.

“Despite the result this week, I know I’m not far from contending for a tournament and at least winning a tournament this season; I can now establish my goals on the course and produce better results as well,” she assured.

Oboh who will be going on a short break before her next event, Jim Thorpe Invitational, February 25-28 in the US
