Bugzito starts off his year on a musical note with his latest release titled ‘Reconnect’ featuring Marcus Harvey. In the song Bugzito and Marcus Harvey infuse the Kwaito sound with the Rap and RnB sounds. Reconnect more or less speaks on a partner that is too busy at times and this has lead to a disconnect in their relationship as the connection is not the same. This can lead to a break up to a certain extent as the one partner is in demand of their attention but they just cannot seem to give enough of their time.
Bugzito further raps on how it has affected him as he realizes how his behaviour and busy schedule has impacted his relationship of which a simple conversation can fix. He further touches on how he does not want to be like his father as he grew up hating him but unfortunately he cracked under the pressures of life and this lead to him going off the rails for a bit. He now realizes his wrongs and is highly apologetic as he refuses for his pride to break a genuine connection they both have.
All Bugzito is begging for is forgiveness with hopes that they can sit down and reconnect as he misses what they both had and is willing to do anything to make things right. This love letter to his partner will have you penning one down for your partner just for the sake of showing your love and appreciation for them. It is an amazing song to listen to as we get closer into the holiday for ‘lovers’.
