Lilepo has five goals in the Betway Premiership for Chiefs this year.

Kaizer Chiefs winger Glody Lilepo has won the Betway Premiership Goal of the Month award for his rocket against Marumo Gallants on April 26.

Lilepo thundered a rocket of a shot into the top corner to put Chiefs 1-0 up in the 10th minute, though Amakhosi eventually lost the game 2-1.

Lilepo helps Chiefs to knockout glory

Lilepo, who signed for Amakhosi in January has five Premiership goals this season, and was a part of the team that on Saturday defeated Orlando Pirates 2-1 to win the 2025 Nedbank Cup.

Sekhkhune United, meanwhile, are the surprise team of this season’s Betway Premierhip, currently sitting in third place in the Premiership table.

Babina Noko won three and drew one of their Premiership games in April, including a 1-0 victory at Orlando Pirates that all-but ended the Buccaneers’ title hopes.

Tinkler’s fast start

Head coach Eric Tinkler only took over in March, but in just over two months has already won himself a Premiership Coach of the Month Award.

Makgalwa, meanwhile, was given the Player of the Month Award after a strong display in April. Makgalwa provided took the corner from which Trésor Tshibwabwa headed the winning goal against Pirates, and also set up Chibuike Ohizu for his goal in the 1-1 draw with TS Galaxy.
