Demi-Leigh and Tim’s first bundle of joy has arrived
Former Miss South Africa and Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Tebow and her husband, retired NFL quarterback Tim Tebow, have announced the arrival of their first child.
The couple introduced their daughter, Daphne Reign, in a heartwarming joint post on Monday, sharing the first photos of their newborn and expressing overwhelming gratitude for the new chapter in their lives.
Demi shared the meaning behind their daughter’s name, explaining that “Daphne” was chosen in honor of her late aunt, a maternal figure who played a pivotal role in her upbringing.
The middle name “Reign” carries a special connection to a young girl the couple had loved dearly for years.
“Here she is, our daughter. Our answered prayer. Daphne Reign Tebow, created in the image of God. Royalty as His princess. Our biggest prayer over her is to reign in God’s purpose for her life,” Demi wrote.
In a heartfelt message, the new parents expressed their appreciation to the medical team who supported them through the birth, and to everyone who kept them in prayer.
“Our daughter is here! We couldn’t be more grateful for the blessing and gift of this new little life,” they shared.
“We are incredibly thankful for all of the love and support we’ve felt.”
